Company history
LEBAL S.A began its operations on April 26, 2012, specializing in the purchase of steel and iron scrap as well as non-ferrous metals from manufacturing, service, and trading companies. Initially serving local markets, LEBAL quickly expanded into European markets, establishing its own storage yard, vehicles, and handling machinery.
In 2015, LEBAL expanded its offer to include specialized metallurgical products, opening its first warehousing facility in Rogozno for hollow sections and round pipes certified to applicable standards. These products primarily serve construction and manufacturing companies.
Continuous development
2018 marked a significant milestone with the establishment of our first brigade of welders. This allowed us to start the production of welded elements for steel structures, shelter halls, and industrial facilities, solidifying our market position.
In 2019, LEBAL began exporting steel scrap outside the European Union. From 2022, we expanded our services to include transhipment services at the Port of Gdansk, handling materials such as cast iron in raw form, iron ore, and steel scrap.
Proven quality
LEBAL prioritizes environmental care and high-quality services. We maintain an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, certified by TÜV NORD. In 2015, we received certification for the Integrated Quality Management System ISO 9001 and the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 from DQS Polska Sp. z o.o.
Set objectives:
- Implementing rational waste management to minimize environmental impact and waste generation
- Utilizing utilities efficiently
- Launching investment or modernization tasks using new available techniques (BAT)
- Raising environmental awareness among employees and involving them in promoting and applying environmental protection principles
